All paving is complete for Segment 3 of the Kirby Drive Improvement Project, which runs through West U., and all lanes are scheduled to be open by close of business today, Nov. 7.

Minor site cleanup and curb work will continue for a few more weeks. The city of Houston has bid Segment 4 of the project, just south of Kirby Drive’s intersection with Robinhood Street north to the city limits of West U. Work on that segment is not scheduled to begin until, at the earliest, January 2009.
